Seed? identification
I've just turned out my compost bin and found what looks like a huge seed.
The inside has rotted away but the outside is intact. I've got no idea what it could be. It's about 4 inches long, 2 inches wide and 1 cm thick, shaped like a huge pumpkin seed. ( picture linked ). http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~sy...mg/bigseed.jpg Any ideas what it is? -- Martin & Anna Sykes ( Remove x's when replying ) http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~sykesm |

Although she didn't recognise it either. I guess it was covered in pulp and so looked completely different when it went in the compost. -- Martin & Anna Sykes ( Remove x's when replying ) http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~sykesm |
