Okay, another puzzler. I've received a letter and photograph from a friend
in Jersey. She has been given what she calls a fennel fern and has had it
for several years. It has now bloomed and stands at 10'7"! I've never
ever seen or heard of such a monster, even in the Med. Anyone any idea of
just which fennel this is? I've asked her to send me some seeds! She's the
gentlest, kindest person so I always tease her that her plants are too
frightened of her not to do well but this monster has astonished everyone!
