Default Gazanias have over-wintered

My gazanias have over-wintered and are very large (approx. 50cm in
diameter).

What should I do with them :- cut them back, leave them, rip them out and
compost them etc?

Compost them if you don't want them. If you do want them, cut them back and
use the off-cuts for rooting cuttings.
