Floppy Crocus?
Last year I planted a variety of bulbs, including some crocus. These have
flowered, but some of them - particularly a yellow variety - seem to 'flop'. The main stem goes pale white and falls over. Sometimes before the flower has fully opened. I have put up a webpage which has a couple of photos showing what I mean in case the above isn't a clear description. http://www.st-and.demon.co.uk/Garden/floppy.html Can anyone explain what I did wrong, and what the cause may be?
