What I'm getting at is that there was an article in the national news (UK) a
while ago about a bloke who had a problem with morons (sent from St. Moroni
!!!) jumping in his hedge, until he grew a particular type of thorny creeper
within the hedge.

Ilex (Holly) , Pyracantha, Crataegus

Hooly sounds good, only a complete idiot would throw themselves into a holly bush, they certainly wouldnt delibrately do it again.

Just hope they dont do what they did to mine and up root the plants, though I replanted it and it recovered nicely. (privet)

You can try with cactus.:-) or dig a hole front of the hedge.
