Hi
Can you identify this tree, which is in my front garden? This is the overall tree: http://www.creationfactor.net/DSCF00vc04.JPG and this is a close up of the developing flowers/leaves: http://www.creationfactor.net/DSCF00vc05.JPG I couldn't work it out form my tree book. I know the big tree overshadowing it to the right is a type of cypress, but this one is a mystery. -- "When all around you are losing their heads, and you can keep yours, it's just possible that you aren't grasping the situation" Bigus |

The leaves are most definitely like apple leaves, the flowers look like apple flowers, and I think I've seen some species which are as deep a red as that. -- Kay Easton Edward's earthworm page: http://www.scarboro.demon.co.uk/edward/index.htm |
