Default Nemaslug didn't work

well I discovered that it was actually still slugs that were destroying my
marigolds, despite a heavy dousing of all the garden beds with nemaslug.
slime trails were a give away, but also discovered a colony of slugs hding
under a pot in the one flower bed!

guess I'll be buying some more traditional slug poisons tonight.

I don't think you've given it long enough, Bruce. Your first post was only
about a fortnight ago. Repeat doses are probably needed but clearing away
things that harbour slugs is necessary, too!

....and with the recent hot weather you may have let the affected area
get too dry? - you need to maintain a level of moisture for the nemaslug
parasites to do their job

Quite! That has been a major problem for us, keeping the spud bed moist when
we aren't supposed to use a hose on our allotments.

However I suspect (indeed hope) this Nemaslug is more useful for the ground
dwelling slugs than those on the surface, and I will certainly post our
findings when the time comes.
