Does nemaslug control snails? Do snail do as much damage as slugs and is

Sadly, many plants in my garden are testement to the fact that snails can do an enormous amount of damage. Especially to those tasty, tender shoots of young plants that you happen to be hardening off..... (sitting the pots in a bed of coarse sand appears to have provided a lot of protection, though).
