Verdun Oaks
The Woodland Trust is trying to track down the Verdun Oaks, planted after WW1 using acorns brought back from the battlefields. They want to plant successors in a similar manner. if anyone knows of one, the Woodland Trust would like to know about it. And if not, you could contribute to the scheme in other ways. https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/sup...ntenary-woods/ |
