I just despatched a queen wasp flying around the kitchen. It's the
earliest I can ever remember seeing a wasp flying. But then maybe it was
a wasp I saw flying last week rather than a bee (see the "Prunus
cerasifera" thread).

Found a dozy one in our old Landrover last week and a dead honey bee on the
bonnet.
