Default japanese Knotweed

I bought a supplement supposes to be good for eyes, called
Reservatrol. Iunderstood it to be made from red grapes and some
berries.
It says on th bottle that it is made from Japanese knotweed! I know it
is edible but am not sure about this. Maybe I should plant some in my
garden and make my own!

At least here in the colonies, Japanese Knotweed is highly invasive. As a
kid, I used to break off a cane and drink the water from the lower
sections.

South-West of France, where they live for ever, are such.

Yes just so. I thought the resvaratrol argument had been pretty much
debunked by now. Still, you can try wines made from the Tannat grape if
you will live long enough that they're enjoyable (or can find some old
ones to buy). I purchased a Cahors last night from Ch. Eugenie (http://
www.chateaueugenie.com) which was 15% tannat and the rest malbec, I plan
to forget about it for 10 years or so, or longer if I'm no longer
extant!
