Hi :-)
Does anyone know what this is - 2 views. One of them flew off, although the wings must be very thin! I need also to know if I can still use the compost after infestation, and if not, how do I get rid of them, please? https://www.facebook.com/glenys.ever...type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/glenys.ever...type=3&theater Thanx XG |

Someone has told me it looks like a solder/compost fly. but I cannot quite pin my hopes on that as it looks different to the photos of such in google.

That's probably why the beetles were in the compost - it's like a 5* restaurant for them in there. An interesting and useful inhabitant of your garden I'd say; no need to try and exterminate them. -- Sue |

But Sue, what about the worms in the compost? I love to see millions of them
in my compost, are they going to provide the main course? :-( Mike ..................................................
