Its a long way to go for free apples even as a member. Trees around me
are absolutely laden with apples this year (we got only two last year).

Made the mistake of trying to go to Harlow Carr on the free public
admission day last year (didn't know at the time), hit the resulting
traffic jam about two miles from it and went into Harrogate instead!

Just as long as you realise RHS Wisley is certainly not organic, they use
every chemical they can. Strangely when there a couple of days ago I noticed
some of the apples (Lord Lambourn?) had Bitter Pit yet I know they spray for
that.
