Default Rapitest Meter - any thoughts

We've seen plenty Moisture level, acid/alk and sunlight meters, but this one
includes P, N and potash content :-

Sounds a bit too cheap to be true. Has anyone used one? TIA.

Default Rapitest Meter - any thoughts

As for NPK, I don't think so! The lowest scale on the dial reads
'FERTILISER', and the scale itself has three divisions: 'TOO LITTLE',
'IDEAL' and 'TOO MUCH'. Big deal!

I've no idea how they pretend to measure pH. I use a set of paper test
strips when I want to know the pH of a soil, although I have actually
got a proper laboratory pH meter with glass and calomel electrodes,
but the paper strips are quicker. The test kits you can get from
garden centres, where you shake up some soil in water and add a few
drops of indicator dye and read the colour off a chart are also OK.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my money.

Thanks, yes you're right - a bit of a gimmick.
