How to be enthusiastic and informative about gardening
Just came across this website:
http://www.gobsmack.org.uk/garden/index.php Maybe it should be the first port of call for all those starting to get interested in gardening (and probably a permanent link from a certain forum which keeps referring questions to this newsgroup). -- Jeff |

How to be enthusiastic and informative about gardening
How nice for someone to admit in the beginning they didn't know very much
and learnt by 'doing'. So different from all of the experts on here who were born with the knowledge of a skilled gardener. Similar to those born with the skill to drive and have no time for the learner ....... Mike "Jeff Layman" wrote in message ... That's really heartwarming and interesting. Thanks.Jeff. You're welcome. Once in a while - usually looking for something else - a link appears which sort of asks you to click on it (somewhat more than the usual ramblings through the internet do). -- Jeff |

Pretty much how I learned and enjoyed learning - with a little bit of college, a lot of help from books etc and rigorous training in commercial nursery work in between. You have to do it to truly know it, though nobody can live long enough to know it all. Rod |
