variegated elderflower?
Pottering around this evening I came across an attractive volunteer
elderflower growing in a brambly spot in the garden. I've posted some pictures he http://adelka.com/misc/sambucus/ Attention they are near 2 mb, so be forewarned! Anyway I'm quite pleased and can't recall having seen one like this before, although there are some variegated cultivars about. Is it worth trying to propagate (if it survives the winter)? cheers, -E -- Gardening in Lower Normandy |

Not sure if I should wait until next year to give it a chance to establish though; I'm guessing this is a second year seedling, I've only seen the one stem. -- Gardening in Lower Normandy |

'Pulverulenta' seems the closest I've seen, I'd be interested to find out if there are others. -- Gardening in Lower Normandy |

Most do seem to be edged rather than cut-and-speckled type. CGF certainly has a wide selection of Elder! -- Gardening in Lower Normandy |
