Hi all
as the subject line says - I have an amount of old, dry seagrass taken from some chairs I have re-seated. Would it be OK to compost this? I'm wondering how long it might take to rot down, and whether it might have had nasty chemicals related to its processing/drying. Thanks Jon N |

Thanks Jon N If it is genuine and not plastic, I would put it though the shredder first, making sure the blades are sharp. I was doing some rough shredding yesterday because it was a lovely sunny day, like today, but the blades were a bit off and not everything was cut fine. I don't think they would have done to seagrass all that well Mike -- .................................... I'm an Angel, honest !
