Default Yet more B****y rain.

Will this rain never stop?
We've just had another short, sharp Cloud Burst.
Can't see me ever finishing Dahlia Planting.
Yesterday afternoon was nice, and the ground was drying so planting
should have been possible today, but rain in the night and this morning
put paid to that.
Ugh !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh David it's lovely here. Had a walk about in Shanklin this morning and
around here this afternoon. Sitting here writing a book with the doors open
and a slight breeze keeping the 'sweat at bay'

Same at this end. There may be a dry patch. The sun comes out. I think
ok let's do something. By the time I've gone outside an unlocked the
shed it's sheeting down and I'm soaked by the time I get back indoors.
But before I've finished changing the sun's out again. I give up.

But at least the ground's wet enough for the application of slugatodes
tomorrow.

Oh, and my dahlias are still in pots!

Cheers, Jake
