Hello, I am writing just to ask if anyone knows if Flymo extension cables that you can buy all over the internet could be used for a Bosch lawn mower? Specifically a Rotak 40. The cables do look pretty much exactly the same bar the colour, but I'd just like to know if anyone is aware if they're the standard connections for most lawn mower extension cables?

There isn't a standard :-( On my last two machines, I cut off the cable a foot or so from the controller, and fitted the male part of an inline connector to it. I then removed the socket from a long extension lead, and fitted the female part to that. Tedious, but it gives a reasonable lead length. Regards, Nick Maclaren. |
