![]() "Dave Hall" wrote in message ... I went to my 'spot' today with the laptop and sound files of a willow tit, marsh tit and nuthatch. I played all three but got no response. I did see the Jay again. It landed in a tree beyond the 'feeding post' but was obscured by branches and left before I could even point the camera at it. It did return to feed on the ground about 20 feet away but by the time I'd found it in the preview, it disappeared behind some rock, Darn! My wife, on her usual walk, saw a heron's nest, 5 herons, one little egret and a buzzard. There are kingfishers further up as well as several waders near the marina. Dave I have added a few more photos and short video of the Nuthatch feeding from a tray which we fit to the bonnet of the car, just by the wipers. I saw our Yellowhammer this morning under our feeders but it had gone by the time I had the camera. My nephew, who lives 3 miles away reported that all his starlings have left and now he can enjoy his 'garden' birds. My buggers were still here this morning. I hope the wind stays from the south west for another day or two! Dave |
