![]() I think you will find that it is not cost-effective for the amateur to use artificial lighting to raise seedlings. If it was, we'd all have been doing it for years. I have lifted this from another thread which I find fascinating. This person is devoting a lot of time to his 'hobby'. Don't we all devote a lot of time to our hobbies? Allotments. Look at the time spent there to get some veg and flowers which can be bought in the local supermarket without the effort and disappointment any gardening brings. But look at the satisfaction when the food is on the table! I know, I had an allotment when we were first married. No, I feel that the OP, who has a superb tunnel and looks far more substantial than the ones I had at my last house :-( is just devoting a lot of time into his hobby.
