Leslie -- You can grow roses in pots, but you really need to use a soil based compost, a large pot and treat reguarly for Vine Weevil (before you see the problem - its too late after!) Grow bag compost will become satuarated during the winter and the rose will go down hill -- Charlie Pridham, Gardening in Cornwall www.roselandhouse.co.uk Holders of national collections of Clematis viticella cultivars and Lapageria rosea |
