Bosch 2200, its probebly dearer than £200 but under 300, its the best
domestic shredder by miles.

Don't get the noisy spinning blade type. There are much quieter ones that
use a screw type cutter -like an old mincing machine.
I got a bosch 2000 hp off ebay for half of b&q price -then £200 tho b&q do a
ryobi 2400w for about 140quid.

There are a lot of regular posters who find that model extremely
effective - I even crunch bones with it[*]!

Can the Bosch 2200 cope with green-ish waste - clematis cuttings /
honeysuckle cuttings - the lesser 1600 model just clogs up - it's ok as long
as the waste is hard, but can't deal with the softer stuff.

I have one of the Ryobi 2.2kw shredders, cost £100. It *is* one of the
noisy, spinning blade types though it's only really noisy when shredding
very dry hard wood.

On handling green material, I have just very belatedly trimmed a
seriously overgrown hedgerow comprising sycamore, crab apple, willow and
hawthorne, all in full leaf, about twenty-five yards reduced about six
feet in height, and I had to unclog the shredder once, so I'm quite
pleased with it.

It does have a Euro-hopper[1], which I'm thinking of adapting, but I
expect they all do.

operate it; the second is to so culturally dilute something as to make
it almost featureless.

You beat me to it! I ddon't think anyone one else on here has more
clematis cutting back to get rid of and we don't shred any of it, goes
straight to the back of the flower beds or in the black bin things.
