Spraying with a Karcher.
"Fred" wrote in message news Has anyone tried spraying large fruit trees with a KARCHER presher washer! Yes it is a very satifying method of annoying wooly aphids some of the little sods always seem to survive however. A note of caution if you use it in full spray mode rather than the low pressure adding soap mode it can easily strip bark if you linger, short bursts strip off the aphids from their nasty wooly nests and pulverise them. Our bramley has been heavily pruned and is now only 12-14 ft high much above that and it would be a real struggle to make large inroads into the WA population. Good luck Derek |
