Default A plate of crow. With runner beans.

Which is to say that I extrapolated bean pollination beyond bush and pole
beans to runners, which isn't at all right. My trusty "Seed to Seed"
indeed says that the flowers are large, open, and attractive to honeybees,
which I have in abundance, and that a half mile separation is needed to
assure purity. Since my closest neighbors are a quarter mile and don't
grow Scarlet Runner (the only variety I have), I should be OK in spite of
my own ignorance.
Deadline fast approaching for my listings in the Seed Saver's Exchange
yearbook; I know there are some U.K. members, though it's mostly American.

Spring is coming!
