We went garden centre-ing today and purchased a small nectarine tree -
justified as part of my mini-orchard project. The tree already has some flowers. Can I still spray it with Bordeaux to stave off the potential of leaf curl, or should I for-go this for this year? Will the nursery / garden centre have done this already? Thanks, Keith |

It's a preventative and must be sprayed all over the leaves, it's white because of the lime in it so you can see when you need to reapply. It washes off in rain. It is not systemic. -- Regards Bob H 17mls W. of London.UK |

That clarifies even further - even though I wouldn't spray the blossom.
