Default Plant name?

Saw a interesting plant yesterday...

Low ground cover.... green silvery leaves, in full sun, with pink flowers
that had yellow button centres. Thought it might be a cistus, but I can't
find it in my encyclopedia.

Any ideas?

A Helianthemum perhaps? Some are flowering now but they have smaller
leaves and flowers than cistus.

Thanks...

Looking at my plant encyclopedia it looks like a Helianthemum 'Rhodanthe
Carneum'

I don't think it's cistus, the colour would be okay but their centres
aren't buttonlike, and they are taller than groundcover.

Something just like your description was shown on the Chelsea TV
coverage last week; someone (else) is sure to remember what it's
called.

Could it be Convolvulus mauritanicus?

It sounds a bit like Helichrysum Ruby Cluster. I bought one earlier this
year, and I believe it's new variety so you won't find it in your books.

It starts out with red berry like buds, that open up to a yellow centre

Thanks for all your suggestions... I've found out today that the plant is
Cistus 'Silver Pink'.
