I've got a couple of queries that I hope someone here can help me with.
1. I'd like to know what these flowers are in the photograph below. http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/content/...llery.shtml?72 2. I have some Hellebores that are looking somewhat tired. Only planted last year - flowered well. A number of the stems are looking limp, tired and very pale green indeed. There are what look like full and developing seed pods on the ends of the limp stems. I have googled in the archives to see that old stems are typically removed around about now but the typical colour of the old, tired stems is brown. Any clues? -- Paul C |

1. The flowers in the picture are Bellis perennis, or garden daisy,
double version. 2 .They will be the dying flower stems, you can let the seed mature and the pods open, and you will get plenty of seedlings, or you can cut them off, new leaves will soon appear. Mike |
