Did mine about 3 weeks ago.
Set your mower to it's highest setting, and do it in the afternoon when any dew/frost has had a chance to dry off "Darryn Warner" wrote in message ... When does one normally do the 1st cut of the year ? |

When does one normally do the 1st cut of the year ? When it gets long enough to require it. First cuts of the year tend to be a bit of a juggle between the ground being to wet and the grass to long. I don't expect to have to get the mower dusted off until mid April or early May. The first of our Crocuses are just begining to flower, most are still just tight buds or just leaves. Daffs are now up to 4" shoots but as it's got cold (5C) again in the last day or two everything is "on hold". -- Cheers Dave. Nr Garrigill, Cumbria. 421m ASL. Remove "spam" for valid email. |
