I always enjoy your articles. This one was no exception.
The king fisher visited us shortly after we set our pond up 5 years ago. He made short work out of 2 of our five first feeder gold fish. For what ever reason he did not return and has not bothered us since. (the pond is netted for the raccoon so if he does it could be a surprise for him :-) Cheers kathy wrote: This week in the blog, kathy's adventures with a kingfisher. kathy :-) www.blogfromthebog.com this week ~ kingfisher Pond 101 page for new pond keepers ~ http://hometown.aol.com/ka30p/myhomepage/garden.html |

Thanks! He sure is easy to figure out when he's visiting, so noisy. Usually only see him in Dec. and Jan. around here. But I'll hear him down on the rivers by us. k :-) |
