Schubunkins, next generation?
Trying to phrase this without X words.
I think one of my Schubunkins is about to have off-spring. I used to have aquariums many years ago, so understand what is involved. Are Schubunkins live bearers? Should I put her in quarantine, i.e. acquarium? Our pond (bucket) is only 100 g, populated by three Schubunkin and four Koi. I expect most will be eaten.... Martin |

Koi and goldfish are egg layers. The spawn is a forcable pushing of the
female to expel the eggs, which are fertilized in the pond. -- RichToyBox http://www.geocities.com/richtoybox/pondintro.html "Quercus Robur" wrote in message ... Some may survive if you give them bushy plant tangles to spawn in and on. I use parrots feather and hornwart placed around the water iris and other pond plants. Goldfish also love the roots of water lettuce and water hyacinth to spawn in. -- McKoi.... the frugal ponder... EVERYONE: "Please check people's headers for forgeries before flushing."
