barrel pond water-thanks!
thanks to those of you who suggested that i just get the water moving.
i put in a 40gph pump, hobbled together a little fountain with some rocks and a piece of bamboo and voil=E1: clean, clear water the next day. in a few days, i'll move the goldfish back in. thanks again, michael |

actually, when i lived out in the country and had lots of room, i did
just that and it was and still is quite lovely. i live in the city now and have a city-sized backyard that is pretty heavily shaded by a black walnut...which presents quite a few gardening challenges. i may still try to get some kind of water feature going back there. cheers |
