It is too late now but I wish I hadn't done it. I tried to fix the leak by
removing the flange or face plate and regluging the liner. Oh, what fun. I had more trouble lining up the holes in the face plate, the holes in the liner and the screw holed in the skimmer. Took me more than a day. It's done now and I hope it will work. Do I have a back ache!! And it was definitely a leak between the liner and the skimmer. You could see where silt had slipped down. Gotta out and replace some rocks. Can't put add more water until the caulk cures. Thanks for the help. Pixi |

Thank you. Wish I had never gotten this brilliant idea. The poor fish in
my other pond down the hill by the woods practically never see me. Will move of them up once I get the new pond in shape to my satisfaction. Or I wish I was still as young as I was when I dug out the first pond. I did that one all myself from digging out the hole (using pick and shovel to break up the shale) to lining and landscapingit. Have never, never had any trouble with it and it's been at least 18 years. 'Nuff said. Thank you for your good wishes. "Jim and Phyllis Hurley" wrote in message ... Pixi, I'm glad you could get it back in place. Hard work! Enjoy the fruit of your labor. From your determination to get this done, I knew you could do it.
