Has anyone used a bathroom flange for a bottom drain? I am contemplating
switching my Greg Bickal's Boot/EPDM/Bottom Drain plan for a Permalon/Bathroom Flange bottom drain. Any thoughts? The pond is plumbed with 4 inch PVC if that matters at all. -- BenignVanilla Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it. tibetanbeefgarden.com Remove MYFRONTALLOBE to email me. |

I don't use it for a bottom drain but I use a pair of them in my 55 gallon
drum upflow filter system and they worked out great. Bob BenignVanilla wrote: Has anyone used a bathroom flange for a bottom drain? We have them, in pairs (Ring and flat lift ring) on all our kiddie pools and
on the EDPM veggie filters. We have sealed the joints with tar. No leaks, 5 years. Hey BV, try Graham's site: he's a great DIY'er from Nova Scotia. This is the
style that I'm using in that 3,000 gal. tank I'm building in the back yard. http://www.geocities.com/ghawkins_ca/index.html Scroll down to find some of his projects. This is a step-by-step with photos, so you should like it! Lee "BenignVanilla" m wrote in message ... Has anyone used a bathroom flange for a bottom drain?
