Sacha,
Get a pond thermometer and wait until the pond temperature gets above 50 for several days, with no cold fronts on the weather map, and then start feeding. In Richmond, the temperatures of the ponds are now about 52 or 53 and I expect them to stay above 50 now. I think you are probably 3 to 4 weeks away from those temperatures. -- RichToyBox http://www.geocities.com/richtoybox/pondintro.html "MISSYMAGICGIRL" wrote in message ... I am in New York, Bronx. I checked both the bottom and flooting thermometer and the bottom was 56 and the flooting one was 53 today and yesterday. We are having a warm trend( today was 67) but by the weeks end it going to get a bit colder (high 30's to high 40's). Sacha |

Zone 7 at the a/b line. Your pond temperatures are similar to ours then.
We have had some 70 degree days. I think your pond temperature will drop below 50 again by weeks end if your temperatures are projected to be like ours. Wait until you think it will stay above 50 and preferably above 55. -- RichToyBox http://www.geocities.com/richtoybox/pondintro.html "MISSYMAGICGIRL" wrote in message ... Okay, there must be something seriously wrong with my computer. Seems like
this same post has run here about every other week since Jan 1st. It's worded differently each time (wonder how the computer does that?) but basically the same question. Anyone else noticing similar problems with their computers? ;o) ~ jan On 17 Mar 2003 22:43:02 GMT, (MISSYMAGICGIRL) wrote: Is it ok to start feeding even if the night temps are in the high 30's low forty's??? Anyone else noticing similar problems with their computers? ;o) ~ jan I see lots of questions about feeding fish. Why are you just pointing at me? This happened to me in another newsgroup when I first started with my pond and I had lots of questions or I asked the same question but in a different way.Sometime's people will do that 'cause the answer wasn't given, or maybe not enough info was given and the person still don't understand. I am not going to get into a fight or anything; it was one of the worst experiences in my life. Every person on that newsgroup like this one sent hateful and discusting emails to me for over a week. Like the old saying goes "Sometimes things are said in gest " regarding below: Okay, there must be something seriously wrong with my computer.
