I have a modest collection of orchids that is outgrowing my southeast facing
windowsills. I want to move some to a northeast facing exposure. Since they will get less light here, I want to select the ones that would do better in lower light conditions (no or very little direct sun). Can anyone provide some guidance? I have mostly phals, cattleyas, oncidium, dendrobium, paphiopedilum. -- Peter Aitken Remove the crap from my email address before using. |

You will probably find that this is sufficient for the summer, but if your plants start to look a little starved for light in the winter, you might want to supplement with a little electric light enhancement.
