All,

A few weeks ago during our annual show Frank got involved with getting pix
of the plants that were AOS awarded. He wasn't taking the pictures, but
trying to facilitate for the poor young volunteer from a local community
college, who appeared on the scene completely unprepared. (No back drop,
not even film.) While this was happening, he noted that there was a list of
guidelines and tips on picture taking for the AOS, and he thought it would
be helpful to have.

Anyone have that? If so, could I get a copy?

TIA

Diana

I've been similarly prepared, even when I thought I had my act
together. I always manage to leave something at home (backdrop, shutter
release cable)...

Anyone have that? If so, could I get a copy?

I'm afraid it doesn't really say much... It comes with the AOS show
kit, I believe. I think it basically says "Center the flower in the
frame" (duh!). It also says how many slides you need to make (37 now,
I think) and you also need over and under exposures.

I'll look and see if I can find a copy. I've received several over
the years, but I don't know that I've kept any (or looked at one in the
last three or four years).

Diana, I have the set that was sent to us for our Show two weeks ago.
I am leaving town tomorrow morning for the weekend but if I get a
chance (or if you still don't have it by Sunday) I will can them and
send them to you. There are 4 sheets including 2 full of example
pictures of what to have and what not to have.

Well, I am sitting here formatting a bunch of old diskettes (remember
them) and had nothing else to do so I have scanned the four pages and
sent them to Diana. If anyone else needs them let me know. If there
are a lot of requests I will just put them up on our club website.

By all means, Bob... I would like to see them too. I don't
remember it being four pages. So maybe I'm getting old material. I'd
like to see what I'm missing.
