Saturday (Sale, 9 am-6 pm; Show opens at noon after completion of judging
closes at 6 pm); Sunday, Show and Sale, 10 am to 4 pm

Theme: Denizens of the Rain Forest

Admission: $3 suggested donation



This is the largest fall orchid show in the Pacific Northwest and will
feature 15 displays by commercial orchid growers and hobbyists plus an art
exhibit (orchid paintings and photographs) and an orchid sales area.



The Volunteer Park Conservatory and the Woodland Park Zoo, in association
with the University of Washington greenhouse, will be among those exhibiting
exquisite blooming orchids.



There will be talks on Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday on such topics
as how to select your first orchid and how to grow orchids under lights.
