Some ground hogs live in my backyard, how do i throw them out?
I tried a few method, but they are resilient.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I poison gassed mine. In my case I used Anhydrous Ammonia. This is nitrogen
fertilizer that is sold to farmers at any local farm Co-op. Comes in a 1000
gallon tanker trailer. You also can buy small bottles from your local Meth
drug lab Grin as its a major ingredient for making this drug. Ammonia is
also used in some refrigerant systems so a local HVAC man may have some.

Other gasses are available. Easiest is carbon monoxide from your car's
tailpipe - but doesn't penetrate very well. I've heard of other gas pellets
that react with water.

I have at least 3-5 ground hogs in the yard at any point in time. If I let
my pet Timberwolve loose, he will lay quietly and stalk. Like a goalie, he
gains position between the ground hog and the den. He grabs the groundhog
with his mouth and shakes till the neck breaks. He has done this with 2 of
them this year. If I'm present, I make sure the ground hog gets a
reprieve. If I am not present, I bear witness to the rude leftovers.
They stay away from the house and my garden. As for the deer, that will be
the next chapter. Ground hogs do bite, and they carry diseases.. be
careful

I had some extra weed and feed fertilizer placed it in the hole and they
soon relocated to my neighbors yard...

Thanks to all for their great suggestions and comments.
I plan to do a little vegi garden next spring so I definitely
need to solve this problem. 4 years ago I spent $200 on a
local pest control guy and he put some traps there. He caught two
squirrels and that is it. Waste of my money there !!!.

I will try some of your suggestions here.

Just wonder, will it work if I put some spicy dry peppers there
in the hole ?

Give it a try!
That would be a nasty suprise to them when they encounter it.
Might make them re-think living there...
