Bahaya Grass
What's the best way to take care of Bahaya grass infestation in a Fescue
lawn late in the season. I did use a pre-emergence early in the year but I tend to get some Bahaya in certain parts of the yard about this time, later in the growing season (Southeastern U.S.). Thanks, |

Thanks, I've seen more infestation of Bahalia grass this year in our area than I've ever seen before. I think our spring storms & tornado spread the seed over a wide area. I think it's tougher to control than Bermuda. I cut it short & used spot treatment of 'roundup' to kill it. (Cut the bottom off a 16oz plastic bottle, place firmly over the plant, and spray in the neck of the bottle.) It left little brown circles in the yard for a while but filled in pretty fast. Of course if you have a lot of it, that wouldn't work too well. KC |
