Default nothing but moss...

hi guys

just joined the forum, although i'm not supposed to be the gardener in the house...my girlfriend has just taken up the hobby. We only moved in a couple of months ago and have just started working on the garden, if ya can call it that. We have lawns to 3 sides but there isn't much grass in the front one. We put a weed and moss killer on about 3 weeks ago and i've been raking the moss out today, there's not much left except very dry soil. I really want a smooth weedfree lawn full of healthy grass but don't know where best to go from here.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

cheers

Kev
