42" vs 50" deck: can't decide
The mower I'm looking at has a 42" deck. The 50" is only $150 more.
Is there any reason not to go with the 50"? |

Some folks complain that the extra blade (most 42" have 2 blades while most 50" have three) make it more likely to get an even cut. I have a friend who has this problem. I stuck with the 42" because it fits on my trailer while the 50" doesn't. -- Steve Touchstone home page http://www.sirinet.net/~stouchst/index.html |

Also, it will be easier to store in a garage or shed. If you have a lot of flat, open land, get the 50" -Tim |
