One more reason to go to Amsterdam
At Schiphol airport they are planting fields of tulips and daffodils to ward
off rodents, which are a food source for predatory birds, which get sucked into aircraft engines and cause crashes. Great idea, environmentally friendly animal control. But do they have squirrels in Amsterdam? :-) http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L14694575.htm Cheers! Toni from T.O. |
