ID a beautiful flower?
Thank you!
I'm used to seeing the smaller, more familiar forms of Celosia and hadn't even considered a variety of Celosia as a possibility. Thanks again! Mark. "SugarChile" wrote in message ... It's some variety of celosia, aka cockscomb. They dry well for indoor arrangements. Cheers, Sue Zone 6, Southcentral PA "Marcosis" wrote in message ... It's Celosia. Do a search on Google or Yahoo and you should see information
about the different varieties and sizes. It comes in varying heights and colors. I just used a deep pink (similar to that color) with bronze/red leaves at the back of a bed with Victoria Blue Salvia and White Vinca with a red eye in front. Gorgeous! From searching on celosia it does look similar to some varieties.
Are you sure it is Princess Feathers, though? These flowers http://www.rockymountaindata.com/WhatIsIt/Flowers.aspx don't look anything like these flowers http://www.annistonstar.com/www/as/s...g2002/103.html ????? Prince's as in Prince. My grandmammy always called 'em Cockscombs and
Prince's feathers because they looked like the fancy feathers that men stuck in their hats.........madgardener (it is a member of the Celosia family which reseeds tiny little black seeds to ensure return the next year) "Mark S J" wrote in message ...
