Still good? Castor Bean Seeds
The pods of seeds from last years Castor Beans are still on the plants here in
zone 5/6. We had temps never above freezing for twenty-some days. Are these seeds still good? |

Still good? Castor Bean Seeds
Do Castor Bean trees discourage moles or any other critters? I know that
castor oil is supposed to be repulsive for these little buggers, but I've got enough property that I would need gallons of it in a sprayer. Perhaps the poster wants to use ricin on the critters? The US government wants the power to read citizens' email, but refuses to defend the nation's borders. What's wrong with this picture? |

Still good? Castor Bean Seeds
Just that they are deadly if their sap or leaves or seeds are eaten by humans
and they are a pain in the rear to get rid of, some citys are outlawing them now. -- In This Universe The Night was Falling,The Shadows were lenghtening towards an east that would not know another dawn. But elsewhere the Stars were still young and the light of morning lingered: and along the path he once had followed, Man would one day go again. Arthur C. If you eat them, you may die or get very sick. No other dangers I know of. They
aren't trees, but annuals which self-sow voraciously. You can easily have a forest of them in three years. Repel moles? Not sure about that one.
