Carnations will Not Bloom - Help
I purchased some carnations (dianthus caryophyllus) early last year but they
have never bloomed. They have grown long and the leaf part looks great. Any suggustions why they have never bloomed? Thanks, Jim |

Do not mulch with compost or other high organic mulches. Side dress this spring as new growth begins with a balanced, low nitrogen fertilizer. Provided they have good growing conditions and sufficient sunlight, they should bloom this season. pam - gardengal |
