Alternative filter for dynoflo-2 -without carbon pad
Hi,
I have 20 gallon planted tank. Read many links that carbon in filter removes irons and trace elements from water. This does not help the plants. The dynoflo-2 uses a filter that has carbon attached to pad. Is there an alternative filter that i can use that does not have carbon. Sushil |

You do not have to use the carbon insert in an aquaclear filter. Just use 2
foam inserts instead of 1 carbon and 1 foam. works good -- Dave Picklyk www.picklyk.com/aquascape "Sushil Prasad" wrote in message ... Hi, I have 20 gallon planted tank.
