There is a gardening channel on IRC, appropriately called....
#gardening

It's on the Undernet network. IRC can be accessed by using several
IRC programs, most notably mIRC at www.mirc.com . Connect to an
Undernet server then type the command

/join #gardening

Good luck, it's usually quiet except for 7 to 11pm Eastern time, and
there are always people coming and going. Hang around and you'll
certainly see somebody (or somebody already there will wake up
