garden pollinators
The question of how to improve fruit yields and the role of pollinators
comes up quite regularly. This includes "vegetables" that are botanically fruits, eg tomato, chilli etc. Here are two references which are useful: A nice simple summary of the role of bees http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...inated_by_bees More details including literature references for the very keen http://www.beeculture.com/content/pollination_handbook/ David |
