Thank you Vietnamese mint is quite different in smell/taste from 'normal' mints, their habit is rather different and they are unrelated botanically. There are 100s of types of 'normal' mint as they hyrbridise easily and of course each has its local names. If your Red Stem mint is anything like the Redlegs mint I have the only resemblance it has to Vietnamese mint is that they are both smallish aromatic herbs. This site will give you the rundown http://www-ang.kfunigraz.ac.at/~katzer/engl/ David |

Purchasing Mint for garden.
Some mints are massively invasive.
I have tried everything except full-strength Roundup concentrate, which I am going to use next. "Texas Garden" wrote in message om... Can any one tell me where I can purchase (order) Kentucky Colonel Mint and Red Stem Mint? What is Vietnamese Mint? Could it be red stem mint? Thank you |
